Along its working history, CARMAHE’s performance has been centered on the commercial and industrial sectors in our country. Today, CARMAHE is ISO 9000:2001 and IQnet internationally certified for its service to our members and as an exclusive organizer of FIMAQH, the biennial International Fair of Machine Tools, Capital Goods and Services for Production. CARMAHE uses its actions meeting core foundations such as training and technical upgrade, promotion of our domestic products and services throughout the world; and the challenge to carry on with a first level, international trade fair based in Buenos Aires. CARMAHE is number one institutional member of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and is represented in the General Council and in the Commission for labor, promotion of small and medium companies and foreign trade. Convinced of the need to work jointly with the public and private sectors, our Chamber is in constant communication with governmental offices, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Secretariats of State. Another main principle of CARMAHE’s mission and vision is our relations with colleague chambers in our country and in the world; and with bi-national organizations. CARMAHE considers this job essential, because knowledge and interchange with foreign business organizations is a must for the development and insertion of our industry in global markets. Our relations with foreign commercial representatives are added to the steady relations we have created with commercial representatives in our country. CARMAHE has remained faithful to the industrial activity supported by technological evolution. Supplementing its role as trainers, CARMAHE is a member of the SME – Society of Manufacturing Engineers; headquartered in Dearborn ,EE.UU. Their technical library operates in our offices, supplemented by our own technical and commercial library consisting of national and foreign copies in constant rotation. CARMAHE has signed agreements of mutual collaboration with the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional – UTN; and with the Asociación del Magisterio de Enseñanza Técnica – AMET, endorsed by the Secretariat of Education of the City of Buenos Aires. CARMAHEcarries the Congress on Manufacturing Engineering out, jointly with the engineering faculties of national universities. A database and its files grant the access to a variety of information and statistics based on official and private sources. CARMAHE relies on different media sources to promote interchange and debate in our sector. It publishes the Summary of Industrial News for its members, including the most important news published by the mass media.
