The venue will be open for the set up of machinery and stands during the periods mentioned in FIMAQH 2010 Schedule. The access for stand and machines technicians will depend on the timeframe set by the Organization. The same procedure will be in force for dismantling activities.

The lack of compliance with the segment of time set to remove exhibited products, should no previous authorization be granted, will give CARMAHE the right to remove them and send them to a warehouse; and the exhibitor will be responsible for the payment of all the expenditures deviated from such actions. Carpets should only be fi xed by means of double-sided tape. It is specifi cally forbidden to use any kind of contact adhesive.

If platforms are built, they should not exceed 0.10 meters. Maximum high allowed for elements (except for machinery or exhibited products) is 5.5 meters in Pavilions 2, 3 and 5 and in the main sector of Pavilion 7. In the case of Pavilions 1, 4, 6 and for the rest of the venue in Pavilion 7, maximum high permitted is 4.5 meters, if the structure does not block air conditioning ducts, illumination poles, private rooms, displays, exhibitors, etc.

Elements should be one meter away from panels in peripheral stands and isles furnished with panels dividing exhibitors.

Enclosed premises must not exceed 30% (thirty percent) of the stand total area and must be at least 0.40 meters away from the stand limits.
Flat roofs with balustrade over private rooms will be permitted with an additional charge of 30% of the total area requested by the exhibitor. An authorization should be requested to the Organizing Committee attaching a plan. Exhibited machines and elements, if operative, should be at least 0.40 meters away from the stand facade. Exhibitors should guarantee the free movement of people through the hallways surrounding their stands; and avoid crowding.

Otherwise, the Organizing Committee will be authorized to stop activities.

Dividing panels, where provided, are 2.5 mts high, 1 mt wide and white. They should not be used as a support to display cabinets or other constructions or elements. Murals may be hanged from the aluminum superior frame (5 kg maximum load / panel) Elements should be fi xed by means of double sided adhesive tape to avoid damages to the panels’ surface. Drilling, nailing, screwing and / or cutting are not allowed. Damaged panels will be charged to the exhibitor. Our Technical Department will authorize assemblies.

2. Electrical system

Filling form nº 6 “Request for additional services” in and sending it thru www.fimaqh.com is mandatory. Such form should be sent by July 1st, 2010.
Available alternating power is 220/380 V, 50 Hz. Power is provided to the different Exhibitors from peripheral and / or aerial boards (located on the pavilion’s portal frame) Therefore, Exhibitors should have – at least – 25m of electrical cable for up to 30 Kw and 50m of electrical cable for 31Kw or more.
Every exhibitor is responsible for the electrical system of its own stand, considering the following:

There should be a main input board. From such board, a down-lead should be available for driving power and for independent lighting. Exhibitors may request independent down-leads and input boards for consumption beyond 30 Kw. Requests should be in advance and according to the venue’s layout. The board’s capacity should match estimated power consumption. Wires should support estimated consumption or be, at least, 2.5 mm2 minimal section. Costa Salguero’s personnel will connect main boards to the peripheral / aerial boxes.
Single-phase connection may only be allowed up to 3 KVA. Higher consumptions should use three-phase connections, balancing consumptions accordingly to avoid mismatches.
Ground wire should be green. Neutral should be light blue.
In the case of driving power, conductors from the main board to every switch and starter with power controls and security devices should be set up on every drive beyond 10 HP.
Machines above 7hp should have star-delta startings.
Consumption beyond 60 KVA should be reported beforehand to the Organizing Committee.

Machines consuming more than 30 kw should be informed when power is requested.

3. Fire prevention

Exhibitors should have ABC-class dry powder extinguishers in their stands according to these criteria:

Stands up to 25 m2 - 1 x 5 Kg extinguisher
Stands from 26 to 100 m2 - 2 x 5 Kg extinguishers
Stands from 101 to 300 m2 - 3 x 5 Kg extinguishers
For an area larger than 300 m2 - 1 x 5 Kg extinguisher every 100 m2

Hydrant net on the venture should not be blocked by panels or private rooms in order to ensure quick access to it.

4. Labor risk insurers (‘ART’ or ‘ASEGURADORAS DE RIESGO DEL TRABAJO’)

Before August 16, 2010, Exhibitors should submit the list of employees who will operate the stand during FIMAQH 2010. Such list should include ART inscription’s certifi cate.

6. Security

Security services provided by the Organization are general and comprehensive for the whole trade fair. This service does not cover the individual security of every stand or its contents. Exhibitors should be responsible for them. Therefore, we repeat our advice to our Exhibitors, that they should maximize security measures at their stands; especially during the assembly and dismantling activities, periods in which the risk of robbery increases.
We also remind you that CARMAHE will not acknowledge compensations for robbery, theft, fire, lighting, tempest, flood, water, humidity, sabotage or any other damage, regardless of its origin.

7. Cleaning services:

CARMAHE provides general cleaning services covering the venue, hallways and common areas. It does not include cleaning services for the interior of stands. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning their stands.
