More than 36,000 people visited the International Machine Tool and Production Technology Fair, held from August 10th to 14th at the Rural Market. Sales totaled over $20 million, a figure that will continue to increase as the business deals initiated during the fair are finalized.
Visitors to FIMAQH were able to experience production processes in real time and learn about the latest global technology applied to the manufacturing industry.
The fair covered more than 20,000 square meters, where more than 150 companies exhibited their latest machine tools, welding and cutting equipment, metrology and tools, automation, software, supplies, cleaning, and industrial safety.
FIMAQH also provided an excellent workshop for more than 4,000 students from technical schools across the country who attended the fair accompanied by their teachers and exchanged experiences with company professionals about the use of the machinery they will encounter in industrial companies.
This year’s FIMAQH was held concurrently with FITECMA, the trade fair that brings together the wood industry, allowing for a mega industrial event in the heart of Buenos Aires.
“FIMAQH is a celebration of the industry, an event that no company wants to miss,” said Alfredo Bonazzi, president of CARMAHE, one of the industrial chambers organizing the event. Florencia Vitale, vice president of CARMAHE, said that “at FIMAQH, exhibitors invest to be able to showcase their production processes and the solutions they provide in real time, something unseen at any other industrial fair in the world.”
This Saturday, FIMAQH closes its doors until the next edition, which will be in 2027, marking a turning point in increasing installed capacity for the local industry, a clear message of confidence from companies in the country’s economic future.
